You’re just sitting there, wondering how you got yourself into this mess, and hoping that the food arrives soon so you can focus on something other than the awkward silence.
But it’s not just the first dates that are a challenge, oh no. Once you get past that hurdle, there are still plenty of other obstacles to navigate. Like the dreaded “ghosting,” where someone just disappears without a trace. It’s like you’re a detective trying to solve a mystery, except instead of clues, you’re just left with a bunch of unanswered texts.
And let’s not forget about online dating, where you can swipe left or right on someone’s picture like you’re shopping for a new outfit. It’s like you’re trying to find the perfect combination of looks and personality, but all you end up with is a bunch of mismatches and disappointment.
But hey, don’t get me wrong, dating can also be a lot of fun. Like when you find someone who makes you laugh, or you have that spark of chemistry that just can’t be denied. It’s like you’re on a high that nothing can bring you down from, except maybe the realization that they’re just not that into you.
