Booger Hole West Virginia Might be a slimy place. Legend has it that a string of murders there in the 1900’s led to the name “boogie Man” And though the name has changed the mystery of the town remains.
And today it is said that there is a giant very deep hole that people have been throwing their tissues into for more than 100 years now. It is said to be good luck. And if you throw your tissue into the hole, no one will sneeze on you for a week.
So needless to say that every week people are standing at the edge of the hole dumping in their weeks worth of tissues. Pretty slimy way of getting the towns name away from the boogie man name. Which brings up a new question.
Because the earlier for of the name was a bit more violent. And needless to say mean. Because back then the people posted signs about the violence. If people committed crimes of any kind they would hunt you down.
So I wonder that if you did not obey the hole, and sneezed on someone today what would happen? Would they run you down to the ends of the earth? Or perhaps just throw you into the booger hole? And I am very sure that I would not want to have that happen.
