Today is NATIONAL HUG NEWSPERSON DAY. It is the day that you go out and find them and give them a hug for all the hard work they do to bring the news. To bring us the stories of Karen’s, Puppies, Crooks, bad guys and local Hero’s.
Newspersons will go far and wide to bring us the stories. They will work around the clock, and loose many hours of sleep. They will put themselves in danger and harms way to bring us the action. So go out and hug your local reporter and say thank you.
But of course there are those that will not do this. Like the Infamous ANTIFA members. For them this day would just be another excuse to throw fireworks at them or berate them in some way. And then there are the people who are charged to like one side or the other, so they may hug one and slug another.
Just remember that today is the day to forget all of that and be nice and give a hug. If you want to you can tell them “today a hug, tomorrow a slug” (reporters reading this just got that pun) NATIONAL HUG NEWSPERSON DAY is a happy day for people like me.. mostly.
