PETTING THE GOOGLE. That is what it is called now. At least during an interview I was conducting with a famous music artist. Now I know, Or at least I think that he meant something else, but one can never be for sure.
During the interview the cell phone cut in and out off and on. And at one point during the interview I her him say “I need to pet the google”. I was laughing inside as I already knew that as we were coming to the end of it, He was headed for the bathroom.
Now what exactly “Pet” means I’m not sure I want to know. I would hope that it simply means that he had to relive himself. But of course the term “pet” typically means something else. We al know that music artists can be rather eccentric, and complicated. I was just glad that he hung up the phone first.
So from now on if you hear of someone wanting to do that I would run away fast. Just in case of them wanting to include you in the act. Hopefully they excuse themselves first. And with luck they wont be PETTING THE GOOGLE in public for all to see and have to watch. No matter which reference is intended.
