Price WTF? In this crazy world of inflation, this one does not make any sense what so ever. look at this picture closely.
It appears that Fresh Mint is now more valuable than Spearmint. Makes me wonder if the “Fresh Flavor” is a Russian import. And again Price WTF?
How in the corn bread chicken eating world, does a fake “Fresh” ingredient cost more than an actual ingredient like “Spearmint”? Do we Import “Fresh”? And if so where does it Come From? Russia, China, some Island in the middle of the south Pacific?
And why in the world has the priced jumped since the war in the Ukraine started? I know that in some products this “Fresh” ingredient can taste like a radioactive ice cube experiment gone wrong, but holy spearmint batman!
The only other logical conclusion that I can come to is if the above is not true in any way, then Mentos must be trying to say that “Fresh” is for the wealthy only. I mean lets face it, with the skyrocketing gas prices; gum is a luxury item. I could Imagine (if I was Married) coming home with some “Fresh” gum. Why my wife would erase my face with the smallest eraser ever invented, and then tell me to walk back and return it and not waste gas.
