WRONG WAY BACKFIRE! A bike courier in NY who follows all the arrows on the bike lanes, has learned the hard way that people in NY do not like being told what to do.
The rider, we will call him Jake, took it upon himself to tell everyone who was riding the wrong way. With things like; “wrong way dumb ass!” Or people pushing carts and strollers; “Nice bike idiot!”
Wrong way backfire did just that, it backfired. And it took a while. But as he rode past other riders screaming at them at the top of his lungs, and it happened. One rider stuck out his arm and clothes lined him. Some of the other people that he had passed came over an took revenge.
One lady took all of the tomato’s out of her bag and threw them at him. Another Whipped it out and pissed on him. And yet another who was most likely headed for the train tracks, took out his spray paint and tagged him #dumbass.
And everyone else just walked by and watched it happen. Jake picked himself up. Dazed and confused he rode away and while wiping tomato from his face, he ran into a cop. Jake was arrested for assaulting a police officer.
And it Just goes to show that New Yorkers don’t talk to each other for a reason.
